Was there anything else you need to change to actually get the full option?

One of the joys of having the full conversion is that now when I drive into smelly tunnels the impact of the particulate matter on the interior is barely detectable. I installed the pollen filters with the control panel and I did the conversion for that reason.

I am considering whether or not to publish the FULL CONVERSION how to. A 580 to 581 information for W203 / W209.

Basically it adds
- blower housing with pollen filter cage
- 4 more motors
- new control panel
- motor wiring harness

The basic wiring is the same. Several flap actuators are reworked with new cogs.
