I picked up my 57 plate CLK 320 CDi Sport yesterday. It's a lovely car. The question I have is driving the car at low speeds, for example around a car park. Iv noticed that it seems to chug a little bit at low speeds. I wouldn't call it a misfire but it feels slightly like that. Is it down to the gearbox and its operation or something more? Driving the car normally and flooring it their is no lack of power and it pulls very well indeed.

Just wondering if what I said was common or a common issue I need to have addressed?

No idea (mine is petrol), but any chance the injectors are gummed-up from someone putting poor-quality fuel through it in the past?

Which box; the 7G tronic?

Do you have an OBD II code reader (even a cheap one) that might point at the source of the problem?

It's got the 7 speed box on it. When driving it hard and normally it's spot on. Iv only noticed a bit of a stutter at lower speeds or when you slightly push on the accelerator.

Is it worth maybe sticking some DPF and injector treatment in the tank and fill it with premium fuel?
