clk 55 cooling fan problem

hi can any one help, ive just bought a 2003 clk 55 love the car after owning a clk 500 which was a great car but wanted abit sportier model, ive a problem with the cooling fan not working, on investigation after the warning "cooling fault" came on the dash it looks like the control module unit is more than likley duff on inspection its full of water and corroded so ineed of a new one £500 from merc "ouch" so looking for s/hand one, can anyone tell me if any other models use the same 850 watt unit/fan numbers on control module ecl 850w 374456 taem nr, 885.004.125 04835606,
numbers on the cowl a2035001093 kz temic 885002478 Any info would be appreciated thanks Bob

Electric Radiator fan Controller/Resister

There's a "Trick" on the U.S. EPC that allows you to plug in Mercedes Parts
numbers and "SEARCH" it then lists the different chassis that use that part.

Looks like 203 506 09 99 (Which is the Fan Motor and Controller ONLY)
will fit any 203/209/171 chassis BUT be sure you snag the 850WATT
unit there are a couple of others.

He's just going to replace the burnt part.

When he says "Weld" in the video he means "Solder".
