Hi,
My headrest hasn't worked (stuck fully extended) since I bought my car last November. A bit annoying when trying to fold the seat forward. Today I had a play with it and held the switch up for 5 secs as suggested by somebody on the forum. Hey presto headrest now motoring up/down.
However, it doesn't motor when the seat is folded forward.

Is anyone aware of a microswitch or something that operates when the seat is folded? If so where is it? I couldn't see anything when I looked today but there isn't a lot of room under the seat to see anything.

I haven't purposely set out to do that, however I probably have when playing with it. Funnily enough I went out today and moved the seat all the way forward. Headrest seems to be working fine now in all directions!! No doubt I've got one of those annoying intermittant faults that we learn to live with.

The reason I am asking is mine does not go all the way to the bottom except when you lift the seat forward, I have tried taking the headrest out and refitted it but still the same????

Try 'resetting' it by driving it all the way up manually and holding the switch for 5 secs. Repeat at the bottom. It may cure it. The headrest system unfortunately seems to be rather tempramental i'm afraid.

I will give it a go tomorrow thanks
