CLK W209 Seatbelt Problem! Help....

Hi All,
2003 320 CLK W209 and my driver's side seatbelt is very sluggish and sometimes doesn't wind back properly.

I appreciate this may happen in time due to age etc. but what is the solution? Is there anyway the returning spring can be changed or repaired?

Use some silicone spray on the belt.

if that does not help a new belt is needed.

I had the same problem. The dealer said there was a mod which they carried out but as I was still not satisfied I whinged at them and got both front belts replace foc under Service +
