CLS55 AMG Wanted

Looks as though he's serviced it too...

I ideally want a black CLS with cream/biscuit-type colour leather (I do forget the official name of it) but the best bit about silver is that it only needs cleaning 20% of what black does.

Good choice Lee! ;) Its cashmere beige BTW. :D

I'm really happy with mine , feels a bit more special than the E55k I had .

I'm also looking at Maserati QP's...

It'll cost you Lee! Sport GT is the one to have but that will be towards £20k for an 06 car on say 50k.
People seem to like the later auto box but again more money!
Beautiful cars mind but dare I say it a bit slow, compared with a 55k, at only 400bhp.

Maserati...............lovely noise, very dubious build quality. Slower than a 55k engine.

The bloke who bought my first E55K had owned six Maseratis (QP's, GranTourismo etc) and said that besides the big ticket consumables (clutch and brakes) they were relatively sensible to run.

He also recommended going for an early QP because the sequential gearbox is sat at the back of the car for the benefit of weight distribution, he said the later ZF's are to the detriment of the handling.

Whilst I love power, I also love the sound of that engine, it's such a wondrous noise.

IMO, CLS is a much lovelier shape than the QP

I love the shape of the CLS, I really do, but there's just something so special about the Quattroporte.

To be fair though, I'll be more than happy with either.
