Car
CLS63 AMG
Thought I'd give my CLS a once over since it was a nice day.

Started off with a quick pre-rinse with the Karcher, the car was actually washed yesterday so wasn't especially dirty.

Washed with microfibre mitts, Dodo Juice Born to be Mild and two buckets. Rinsed, then dried with various microfibre towels. It was coated in SiRamik Surface Coat Mist yesterday so just given a wipe down with Britemax Spray and Shine.

Also did the interior, so a vacuum of the mats and carpets. Next up was the leather and there is a hell of a lot of it. Leather door cards, dashboards and seats. Given a wipe over with Dr Leather Advanced Liquid Cleaner and plastics a wipe with Autoglym Rubber and Vinyl Care.

Thanks Brian, I was very lucky how well cared for this car was and the low mileage helps.

Still so pleased with the car in every respect!

Your brake calipers are extraordinarily clean!
Looks very squeaky clean.

Looks cracking and those cup holders are the envy of all 211 owners.

I suspect that's in part due to the mileage and the previous owner.

I bought it through a friend who is a professional detailer and this was his father in laws car. He'd looked after it for the 2 1/2 years the owner had it . Car only had 12k on it when he bought it.

There is a thread on here somewhere showing the lengths me friend went to cleaning this car!

Thanks mate, I take it those are a retro fit thing people like?

I think they were a specific option available as I have seen some with them and some without.

Stunning! [emoji106]

Oh I see, well I'm glad it was spec'd with them as they complete that part of the interior.

I don't actually use the cup holder in the CLS other than for this phone holder.

Really like the car. I'd of gone for raised gel plates if you wanted a different look. I run them on my cars and they just look classier. Super clean though and love that steering wheel. Much better than the one I had in my cls55!!!

I did look into the gel plates but they seemed a little too chintzy where as the pressed plates look mo German but are standard UK fonts and colours.

Car Cup Mount

Thanks Alex225

Like you I don't drink coffee/tea in my CLS, but I do have the twin cup holders. Thanks to your post I have just ordered the same phone holder, never knew such a design existed?!?! Happy Happy Joy Joy! :D

Haha loving the Ren & Stimpy reference!

I didn't know cup holder phone stands existed but thought someone must have invented one. Came across the Belkin and thoroughly pleased with it. I didn't want things clipped to my vents in the CLS. Only thing I'd say is if the car was a manual it would get annoying but otherwise it's ideal.

Gave the CLS a little freshen up at the weekend so thought i'd add a couple of pics to this thread. Just a standard wash, dry and then a wipe over with some Britemax Spray and Shine.

Awesome looking car - absolutely stunning example - detailing really does make it stand out from the crowd!

Thanks mate. Even with silver not being the most rewarding colour if it's well maintained it can look amazing.

I pick up an E class tomorrow so hopefully I'll be able to get that looking similarly good although it's got a few more miles on.
