Comand NTG2 testing

I have a comand on my workbench for testing , in which I just bought it for £70 for spare parts , But it seems to be working OK except for the following, Is it normal to get the error on the screen "NAVIGATION CAN NOT BE ACTIVATED" if no GPS antenna is not connected?

No its not normal.

What version disk have you got? I can usually fix these problems

First I tried V4 and no joy then I tried the 2010 ver and still the same
