Thanks, I already checked there but there is only the latest version w221 589 13 22 00. What I am looking for is the previous one w211 589 06 22 00. My local MB dealer claims that is not available as this is an older version...If somebody has it I would appreciate to get a copy. It's a short file about 6-7 Mb which could be send even by e-mail I suppose...

Why would you want... ohhhh, right. Don't do that.
There is always a chance to brick the head unit when upgrading or downgrading. The reason not to downgrade is that it will not have been tested fully by Becker (who make the firmware/hardware), so things may well go wrong.

Thanks for your comments! Any how, is there some way to get a copy of cd W211589062200? My local dealer said that is not available any more as obsolete. Anyone that could send it by e-mail?

just picked up a 54 plate s 350 and would like to upgrade the cd mapping. could anyone tell me the latest cd i can purchase as it doesnt seem to have been updated since first purchased. also what is the phone cradle and is it better to upgrade or is it easier to purchase an older phone that fits. sorry if im in the wrong area

I thought NTG1 A2118274565 was V14? No big deal either way, the part number says all anyway.

Now I'm really confused, reading MB Driver's World and it says A2118274565 is V13?

It's been out for at least a couple of months now, I've got one and it is definitely V14 which would make sense given the previous one was V13
