Make:MERCEDESModel:CLK (CONVERTIBLE)Colour:BLUEWe have found 4 different tyre configurations that match your vehicle.
The manufacturer's original tyre configuration is:

There are also the following alternative tyre configurations that may have
been fitted as an upgrade option by the manufacturer or the dealer:

Rear: 245/40R17 W 90

A wider rear tyre was optional on practically all MBs, sometimes also a wider rear wheel to go with it.

Same tyres all round:
Allows for rotation to even out wear front vs rear
Sometimes cheaper to buy 4 of the same size
Increased fuel economy (fractional)

Staggered tyre sizes:
Look nicer
Increased grip in the rear leading to better take-off and cornering at speed

Basically it's all about compromise. What do you want? Ultimate performance and looks or slightly more econonomical returns?

Unless you have staggered rims, I'd shod them with equal sizes.

Please translate to English! :bannana:

I have standard 16" wheels

I doubt very much that 16" rims are staggered. But I stand to be corrected.

What tyre sizes do you have on the car at the moment?
