I would like a breakdown of all related prices for: front pads....front discs...rear pads...rear discs.

and fitting for just front pads....discs and pads for front only and also a breakdown for the rears too.

Many thanks in advance.

eBay , I got all the bits off of stratmerc2011 which is Stratstone Mercedes in Wakefield .

I got front disks , pads , wear sensors , calipers bolts , disk locating screws and arb bushes from them at a cost of £260 delivered , my mechanic fitted the lot for £100

Purchased a full set from Stratstone Wakefield about a year ago.
Front discs £130
Rear discs £115
Front pads £165
Rear pads £61
Rear sensors £8
Postage £15

Fitted by my local Indie for £165 including fluid change.
Prices for older Merc products have recently dropped and prices can be negotiated. You can pick up patent parts cheaper but I would never use anything but genuine for the brakes. Made a massive difference to stopping power from the old rippled discs.

for my CLS55 (same as E55 brakes), in Sep 11, I bought PAGID front discs, front pads and rear pads from ECP during one of their 30% promotions (total cost £171). I bought rear discs from MB because they were cheaper than ECP (£88).

Total cost of parts £259. All fitted by mate who is an MB tech and main dealer for £90.

PAGID are OEM suppliers to Porsche and others, and are well known and respected. On that basis, I went ahead.

The front discs were identical (very heavy) to the OEM ones. MB technician said the only difference he could see was that MB discs have a thin grey layer.

In the 5 months since they were fitted, they have been absolutely fine.

prices are roughly correct above, good time to replace the pads with Redstuff pads, get rid of the dust! and they work out cheaper!

zimmerman are the disc manufacturer fyi, but i found main dealer with a little discount cheaper than anywhere else, fitting was free as i done it myself.

I would replace the pad pins whilst your at it.

I was looking into this and got the following prices from ECP with the members discount.....

Pagid front discs - £124.80
Pagid front pads - £88.80
Pagid Rear discs - £81.48
Pagid Rear pads - £59.94
SubTotal: £355.02
Grand total(inc discount & vat): £266.26

Which I think is rather good :)

I got my rear disks, pads and sensors replaced by MB Hamilton for £290 3 weeks ago.

And bought MB front pads for £52 delivered. Front disks were £120.

Tell your local Mercedes parts department the prices you've been quoted and they should get close (if not match) those prices.

I've never yet had a discount from my main Mercedes dealer, but I have sourced them from Mercedes Oxford (inchcape)10% -20% off but with postage, or off ebay if you have good part numbers.
It seems a bit cheeky to turn up at you main dealer and start haggling over price.

I always get good discount from my MB dealer 15-40% depending on what it is! Nothing cheeky about saving money!

so recently replaced the brakes. Pagid disks and pads....

Work completed by MSL... but jesus they squeek.... its so annoying and even more very embarrassing....

So the question is in 2015. can someone point me in the direction of oem brakes. I called mercedes gatwick and croydon, and they have both quoted £220 in vat for just the front pads. When asked for a discount he simply said no :-(

Does anyone have the part number for the front brake pads and a good place to purchase them?

I had pagid disks and pads last year and they were horrible, would not stop squealing and the front discs were warped! Changed them to OEM earlier this year and no squeal and they have better feedback/response.

Got disks from mb Newcastle off eBay

Mercedes-Benz Parts, Inchcape

This is MB Oxford I believe through the web site automatic 10% on any parts.
