Custom Plates

What if you had a personalised, none standard registration and displayed your daft wannabee incorrect country insignia, perhaps on even more daft German pressed metal plates.
Who would then know where the car was registered.

The law has to be all encompassing to stop people being able to interpret it how they want to...like you want to.

It can't be easier, on the first page you were advised to pick a legal plate. as the Nike advert says...Just do It...

How about Sky; Believe in Better or Maserati; The Absolute Opposite of Ordinary

Forums are for advice, I took this advice, albeit partially. I know you may be knowledgeable, or give this impression with 30k+ posts, but people and the laws of the land are not always correct. This is a fact and "almost" impossible to argue.

As with many threads involving the law, there are several elements:-

1. What is legal,

2. What is illegal,

3. What you want,

4. What you can have,

5. What you can't have,

6. Whether your brain has been able to successfully compute the information presented, and if so -

7. Whether you are going to comply with the law, or -

8. Whether you are knowingly going to transgress (mens rea and actus reus), or whether you are going to transgress because the information has got your brain in a knot and is incapable of making sense of it all.

Doubtless someone will be able to think of even more.

The law is sometimes an ass, but there's usually a reason for the various provisions inserted in legislation, even if they are not always obvious to the ignorant.

Who Dares Wins, I suppose.

To imply that someone has a problem with their brain or an inability to process information because they are unwilling to accept all information presented is 100% ignorant.

People make informed decisions, often driven by motive, of which mine is to stand out. You could call me a poser, but to suggest I am unable to think logically is a step too far and classical of a keyboard king.

If I were to d**k measure, in an attempt to demonstrate my intelligence, you would know I am far from unable to think clearly. I am not willing to do this, as I have no insecurities to display.

Please know that members, all members, have the right and ability to take what advice is offered, should they chose. To inflame and not add anything meaningful speaks volumes and frankly is the reason why people get fed up with forums. In particular, I had been enjoying these forums, wondered when a keyboard hero would attempt to sabotage a thread. I knew I would not have to wait long.

EDIT: Moderator, I do not wish to close thread but for non meaningful contributions to be warned.

I think the thread may be closed anyway as i believe we are not permitted to discuss illegal activities. :ban:

Warned of what?? LOL...

Probably not quite what people are thinking.

You have added information, which is fine, the other poster I quoted has simply inflamed and or repeated what you have said. Non related posts should be warned.

Fixed that for you;)

Chris. Just take the advice given and do what you like. You will anyway and getting into an internet argument is pointless.

I will take part of the advice as stated. However, I disagree with the rest.

Wait until you guys see my next mod :)

Go on......kill us all. What are you planning:devil:

Lets say a C63 paddle shift, SLS Gear knob or bucket seats on a CLS would not get a look in.

This one is special, I am sure it will be the only or one of a few in the U.K. Perhaps for a good reason haha.

Must be 22" wheels then :D

I'm sure you'll be doing the mod first before asking advice:doh::D

I have just watched Anchorman 2 and it was nowhere near as good as the original one :(

Sorry, was actually reading this thread and had to vent my disappointment.
