Any recommendations ? Not too heavy as Dave's Wife is knocking on a bit and petrol one probably out of the question. Did have a Flymo one for years which was more than powerful enough, much better than the £hitty Aldi cordless one she replaced it with.

Thoughts ?

I have a GTECH leaf blower which I have been delighted with but having checked it’s no longer available on their website. It is available on eBay though.

We have an Einhell one which is excellent:

I use it all year round for clearing up after strimming, hedge trimming etc. ... not just blowing leaves. Also for blasting grass clippings etc. off the mowers and even my tractor :D

There are bigger and smaller models, and obviously many other brands. Most are probably absolutely fine - as above a big factor is whether you already have any battery packs/chargers for a particular make. We have an Einhell strimmer and hedge trimmer as well (both of which are also excellent quality) - nearly all brands sell both 'bare' appliances and bundles that include a pack and charger.

Leaf blower?
For your wife?

Has she tried one of these....?

Leaf blower?....the worlds gone soft!

(Yes I do have one!).

Have a look at Worx via their shop on Ebay, the 20V one is small and powerful enough, been really happy with it so far. I also have the 20V strimmer, rotary tool and powershot pressure washer plus a couple of spare batteries I bought on ebay (not from the Worx shop but are genuine).

I've had a 20V Worx drill for 6 years now and that's been fine.

I think Dave needs to man up a bit and clean up the leaves himself

Sitting watching a man with a leaf blower yesterday after we had dodged the hurricane in North Carolina. Blew all the leaves off his freshly mowed lawn down onto the road . Nice until the wind got up half an hour later and blew them all back 😂😂😂

@LTD

As Dave works 12 hour days 6 days a week and there's nothing Mrs Dave loves more than playing the martyr, Dave is resigned to letting her just get on with whatever moanathon activity takes her fancy.

Anyway, thank you for the replies.

Turns out she doesn't want any of those, she wants her old one fixed. She doesn't like the idea of pipe swapping, petrol, batteries or wheels. Our old one blowed then you pulled a lever and then it sucked.

So I'm out and not getting involved :wallbash:
