.....Now - the main reason for not going to the 11 Feb meet was it was on the expected due date - no longer a problem - any suggestions for how I can approach this with the Mrs?

Again, many thanks to all for your best wishes. I'll take saorbust's approach to the GTG if I may - I am working (& staying) in London during the week at the moment and I think the idea of being away on a weekend day as well will go down like a lead balloon right now!

I attach a photo of the little fella - at about an hour old - the first time we really had time to think about it. Given my previous history of attempting to attach photo's I've got my fingers very firmly crossed!
