.....Now - the main reason for not going to the 11 Feb meet was it was on the expected due date - no longer a problem - any suggestions for how I can approach this with the Mrs?

With extreme caution ? ;) ;)

So now you'll need to buy a bigger car to fit all the cherubs in ? Perhaps an E class estate? (E55 - does that come in an estate? )
;)
Might go well with the cl?

Congrats!

Steve

Again, many thanks to all for your best wishes. I'll take saorbust's approach to the GTG if I may - I am working (& staying) in London during the week at the moment and I think the idea of being away on a weekend day as well will go down like a lead balloon right now!

I attach a photo of the little fella - at about an hour old - the first time we really had time to think about it. Given my previous history of attempting to attach photo's I've got my fingers very firmly crossed!

On the left how they start out all happy and cheerful and the right what they turn into TEENAGERS (note the look on the right; for gods sake dad put that camera away)

How could she possibly know she's a teenager and does not even talk to me.

:D Ouch!!! It only hurts when I laugh :)

But we still look at them and think back to how they could fit onto the palm of your hand.

Regards,
John

Easy, get the MIL round, tell her you'll give her (MIL) quality time with her daughter and new grandson. Brownie points all round.
