Diamond cut and wheel refurb....

Ok, chaps,

I have a quote (for cash ) of £60 per wheel to refurb my alloys....

This includes :-

Taking out the hundreds of allen bolts
Stripping the tyres off, refitting and balancing
Stripping the laquer
Diamond cutting the rim
Filling, finishing and painting the face of the wheel
Re-laquering .....

Seem cheap ? any comments ?

the car will be without wheels for approx 3/4 days unless someone has a set of steel wheels they would like to lend me for that time in exchange for a case of beer ?

Will, you are a legend !!!

I might well take you up on it, i have spoken with Sp!ke about it as well, but he just took his old w124 steel wheels to the dump this weekend !!!

I probably wouldn't even want to drive around on it, just put them on so the car isn't sitting on bricks outside the house , looking sorry for itself ....

that price sounds about right for bolted wheels.. one piece should be cheaper - around £35-£40+VAT per wheel

I've got a set of old W124 steels as well if you want to use them
