Diff Filler Plug. Will not budge.

Television, Those are new ramps I bought from "Screwfix" online. I've been away from the "trade" now 10 yrs, and I really miss access to workshop facilities, so these ramps are really useful to me. :bannana:

That too was my life once, when you get old the mind is more willing than the body, I would think nothing back to when I was 30 of laying on the ground at zero temperature and slip a gearbox out at 1am, in bed for 5am and up for work at 8am.

I love the colour of your car. :)

I do wonder about this for the leakage on C240yaz's car. The mileage is a bit low for seals to leak.
That N/S/R diff leak is very recent. 1 month approx. I actually new who the previous owner was and he had it since new, so I have no doubts about it's ownership history.

I do however have doubts about MB, on how they actually serviced it for him.

Yaz.
If you filled to the level with the car on ramps it won't be correct as the filler plug is at the nose of the differential. The level will be low when the car is level.
Dieselman, You were right. Car on 4 poster. Checked and a top up was required.. No idea exactly how much it took, as my mate used a garage pump. I reckon about 200ml, or just short of.
