DIY Servicing. What Manual and Code reader?

Hi.

Recently purchased a 2000 E430 Estate and looking for a manual to do servicing etc. I have searched on hear and realise that there is no Haynes, but is there a manual on CD that people reccomend which will cover my V8 car?

Will also want to get a code reader for it. being built in 2000 will it be OBD2 compiant? and can anyone reccomend a reader?

WIS for the service manual (get on-line access if you think it isn't too expensive, if you think it is too expensive, then you would have to consider other options) and Star for the code reader of course, unless you want something cheap. Actually I think even Carsoft works with a 210 but Star would be more complete and specifically future proof.
