Bosch Repair Action

I was told about this and mine IS one of those that requires remedial work.

Engineer booked for Monday.

There is either a sticker or etched information plate on the inside edge of the stainless steel door. Either on the very top or on one of the side edges.
You should be able to see this with the door half open.

On the link referenced above in my first post, once you go to this web-page, click on the "Need help finding your model and batch number" shown in red.

This gives you further information to help you locate this plate/sticker.

Even on fully integrated units this should be visible.

Looked again. Found it, one of the effected batch numbers, but not in the recall when put details into the boxes. Thanks for the heads up.

Hi,Thanks for a very usefull and possibley life saving post.I have one of these,not sure if it is the one affected will find out later.I know I should'nt but easy to switch on at the end of the day and let it do its biz on the days crockery through the night.I wont be sleeping with the dishwasher on anymore.Thanks Verytalldave.
