So do I, but noticed the other day that you can't use the foglights without turning the knob to the manual setting ... which would mean the lights going off temporarily?!
My BMW did that - not impressed - but the MB cleverly has a delay built in so that the lights remain on full as the switch passes from Automatic through to manual headlight position (via, I think, sidelights).

Well I for one completely missed your post!!! but then again you might not have had your lights on at the time!!

But then you'll have your lights on, so I'll have to flash you, then someone will flash me, etc....
It will result in optical meltdown, and confuse Volvo drivers
