E63 Economy Prediction

A bit of fun on this cold winter evening.

Tomorrow I'm travelling 60ish motorway miles to meet a fellow forum member for some extremely high brow corporate business dealings .

I plan to set the trip as I join the motorway, and will keep within the speed limit, or less, where appropriate.

As I leave the motorway I'll take a photo of the consumption, so it's basically relatively constant speed top gear motoring.

Would you care to have a guess at the economy I might achieve from my 6.2l mutha?

Prizes for the nearest 0.1mpg will be as follows:

1st place - one Quorn sausage
2nd place - two Quorn sausages .

There are two conditions, however:

• Traffic jams may hinder economical progress - I have no control over this
• I may not be able to stand driving so slowly - I have little control over this...

My plan is to take Dark Side Of The Moon along and lose myself in the moment.

Though I do have AC/DC programmed into the AMG button just in case some d*ck cuts me up .

If you manage to behave you'll get 24.?. However, any fun with the loud pedal will see that drop quickly. I did something similar to you not long ago, speed average cameras help!
