Engine Oil Above Max

Hi there,

When it was hot last Weekend, driving down the motorway with the air con on, I received a warning message - Engine oil above max. Checked the oil later and it is only half way between min and max on the dipstick.
It happened again the next day with the air con on.
Any ideas?

check on a cold block
sensor in the sump can play up
the sump does not have to come off to change it but the seal needs time to set

He means when the engine is cold.

Check oil level and see what it really is, on a flat piece of ground .

Mixed up the line continuation.

I have checked it when cold and it was half way between min and max on the dipstick.
