I have paid by mastercard and concerned . I´m not sure if your emails working properly .

Seat sensor finally arrived , after a 10 day wait on my email request .Maybe he was on holiday but a delay none the less.
Sorting seat now .

This seems to be a recurring problem - I've had a few PMs from people saying the same thing however Nick has always come across as a decent chap so maybe teething troubles?

Doesn't sound like any delay , sounds like you needed to stump up a postage fee :)

Lets see if we can have another post on poor Nik again.

This is why a lot of people on e bay will not post abroad at all full stop including me, hassle hassle.

Ps my wheel bearings turned up pretty fast:)

Since you've never been a customer of mine I'm somewhat surprised that you see this as a problem, recurring or not.

Shipping anything to other countries using their local postal service can be a bit hit and miss, sometimes parcels arive in a matter of days, other times it can take weeks...

You obviously did not reed post No 6 on the 9th March.

I've recommended your services to plenty of people and had PMs back saying you're very hard to get hold of. If you want me to stop recommending you then fine ;).

Communication is essential, Nick. If you can't be reached after numerous attempts then don't be surprised if people complain or look elsewhere!

I thought you were talking about the spanish postal service, my appoligies.

The problem is some question simply can't be answered instantly, I've either got to have a rummage to see if I have the part that's needed, or do some research to see what part number is applicable, and look up supercesions etc.

You have no idea how many "will this fit my car?" emails I get everyday, where people don't even say what car it is, let alone provide a chassis number...

When I was 16 and stacking jams on the shelves in Waitrose I thought that this job would be OK if it wasn't for customers. Since then, every job I've had I've felt the same ;)

Nick, you've my sympathies!

yep reminds me back to when i ran my market stall selling computer stuff.

i often got people asking in their words; "how much are your £1 disks mate?". my reply "a pound!"

and my favorite as i was setting up the stall - "how much is the table?"

hehe

I'm also puzzled by the posts of confusion here - I've used Nick a few times and all I can say is that I wish there were more people like him out there - be straight with him and he really does go the extra mile with a very helpful service :)

I'd be more inclined to listen to the experiences of UK members using a UK company who didn't just join the forum last month (with 8 posts to there record). People not paying postage for items ordered from Spain is no reflection on the quality of the business overall :o

Nick contacted me back within 24 hours of my first contact (thanks Will for the advice). He's looking for my parts and said he'll come back to, good communication IMHO.

Hope he's got the bits I need :) !

yep i've ordered several times from Nick and found the whole transaction fast and friendly, and saved a lot of money vs buying from MB for exactly the same stuff, or even stuff that MB doesnt have anymore but Nick does - W124 mudflaps and R107 floor mats for example. No longer sold or produced by merc but nick had brand new ones in stock.

In my experience, Nick's communications do sometimes leave something to be desired.

A couple of years ago, I bought a few filters and things from Euromerc, via Ebay, with no problems at all. Later I bought a centre section exhaust, which Nick delivered personally, again no apparent problem.

I often buy things I need, when I see them and in advance of actually using them though and so it was here. Well, after something like 3 months I took it to a garage to be fitted along with a service but it turned out to be for the wrong car and I had to buy the correct one from a dealer.

I guess an easy mistake to make but to try and sort something out I emailed him at his regular email address and via Ebay and twice PM'd him on here but he didn't reply at all.

I haven't used him since, which I find a shame as he has often had a few parts I'd have liked.
