Euromerc delivery-communication problem

just wondering whether this forum is for mercedes enthusiasts to discuss their cars or for people in the trade to discuss /bicker about trade.
There should be a seperate forum for this.Am i wrong?


Was thinking the very same thing this morning. If these are such burning matters perhaps the mods could create a sub-forum for customer relations issues that we could visit only as required.

It also bothers me that members place messages in sub-forums that get the most traffic rather than chosing the correct sub-forum for their query :devil:

As an example, why are technical questions ending up in a general discussion area?

Nick I'm trying to help! The people that have PM'd me I've met and know and they have had problems getting any reply from you. If these are the whiners then your attitude is all wrong.
 
Nobody has been ripped off or lost their money, so personally I see no point in this thread going any further.

His prices are seriously cheap . At those sort of prices I certainly don't think that Nick would be lacking customers.

As an individual he has the choice as to how he wishes to run his business and consumers have the choice of if you are not happy to go elsewhere.

If people are not happy, they should stop moaning and go elsewhere.

Personally I will go to him for parts because I found him helpful.

Hmmm, so am I a moaner or a whiner? I guess probably both in some people's eyes. But if you read this whole thread you will see that I lost money.

Lots of folks are now posting several times pointing out what a good guy Nick is and how helpful and how cheap. I don't doubt Nick is a decent bloke and yes he has lots of parts lots of us will want and so there will be a tendency to support him. After all, for the majority of purchases, I imagine a button is clicked, a set of brake pads (or whatever) ordered and delivered in due course. No problem.

I had a bad experience with Euromerc that I posted earlier and got slated for it by his friends. I then posted more details, explaining the situation and it's as if I became invisible.

Anyone reading this thread (all of it) will see that I'm still being ignored. Maybe, I'm another person that Nick wants to have no dealings with but if so I don't know why.

I've met Nick and, really, it gives me no pleasure whatever to post negative comments like this. I have 200 Ebay feeback, all positive and I have not once ever given another Ebayer negative feedback.

I had put my situation down to experience but this thread was about Nick's communications and so I felt my situation was relevant.

The people on this forum will find great benefit from a company like Euromerc and I for one want to see it (and Nick) prosper. But IMHO that won't happen if all the members blow smoke up his a$$ and refuse to listen to any criticism.
 
Couldn't agree with you more Rob. A superb post. I have no personal vendetta against Nick, in fact I have never met the guy or had any previous dealings with him, but as you say, you are now invisible and sadly I feel the same. Many would benefit from Euromerc, including Nick. It's just very agrivating that he initially replied within a day, saying he most probably has the part I need and to email him my VIN (which I did). A few days later I send him a friendly email/PM asking if he has had any luck finding the part to which I recieve no reply. So, I leave it a few days and still, to this day-nothing. Nick has obviously been posting on this thread so has no doubt read my posts concerning my enquiry buy has chosen to ignore them. Why? I wish I knew-Nick, perhaps you could throw some light on the subject? Maybe you do not wish to do business with me, well, that's your choice-Please give me a clue as to why as I have no clue. Is my money not worthy??

You asked me if I had a part, I said I'd have a look, I got abuse for not going in to work at the weekend to look for it, and now these endless posts from you.

Put yourself in my shoes, why would I want to have anymore to do with you??

I'm more than happy to help anyone on the forum, but not of it involves getting abuse.

You didn't lose any money, you brought the wrong one (was it 2 or 3 years ago?) then apparantly didn't do anything about it for 3 months.

Sorry for being blunt, but I'm getting sick of this...

I've PM'd you with my intentions, Nick and none of them are the above.

Your attitude is damaging your own business - this is what I've been trying to point out and given the PMs I've had saying the same thing maybe you should rethink your attitude.

That's my last comment on it - what you do is up to you but I won't be recommending you in the future.

I've never had any problems dealing with Nick, in fact the only bits I've bought from him have been exactly as advertised and delivered on time.

Mind you, I did email him at 1.30 am the other day and he didn't reply for at least six hours - maybe I was wrong, that's terrible service :D

You'll be disappointed to hear that my business is doing just fine, clearly you know considerably more about running a business that I do, but I'd rather not have the benefit of your superior knowledge if it's all the same with you.

So if you could just stop stirring and crack on with the alloy wheel painting thing...
