I just noticed, that since having my car, it has had the exterior lighting delay feature activated through the OBC and set to on, but it doesn't work.

its supposed to leave the lights on for 15secs (factory default) once ign is switched off and car exited.

reading the owners manual, this should be lights in auto and job done.

mine doesn't work. I have cycled the setting to off then on etc, but no joy.

Any ideas on this as probably a setting somewhere Im missing and the owners manual doesn't go into more detail.

anyone any thoughts?

lights set to Auto as per manual, but dont work and switch off once engine shut off and door opened?

cant this needs to be coded from factory as there is an option on the dash etc

Have you checked that time is really set to 15s? W164 interface may be different but in W211 it's under lighting - head lamps delayed switch off - 0s/15s/30s/40s/60s.

Do the welcome lights work ie come
on when you unlock and approach the car before opening any door?

thanks peeps

it doesnt come on when you approach either.

in the menu on dash under lighting, it has things like interior light delay which is ON and works. But under exterior lighting delay, its set to yes, 15secs (doesnt appear to be adjustable in time) but nothing happens?

something is not right but its not worth getting it on STAR for that!

its all set, just not working for whatever reason - see attached
