Oh well looks like i will be cleaning under there again soon haha.
Nice work buddy she looks lovely![]()
Looking great Pat
Out of curiousity, how many miles do you reckon you have done since you bought it?![]()
Is that the 250?My 2010 W212 has not yet clocked 20k miles (never so much as an MOT advisory).![]()
Is that the 250?
Ah right that’s what I was going to ask Pat, would have been surprised if it leaked at 20k.Yes, E250 CDI, not the one we had with the leak that's the other higher mileage one.
Great way of keeping the mileage down![]()

Thats one thing i was glad my 2nd 55k doesn't have, Brutus's keyless handles all but one didn't work.
Nice when working but unnecessary complication.
It is very simple tech, 2 buttons, think I worked them out at 300 Ohm and 470 Ohm.
Thing is it is just a crap design, these are not up to the job and another way of doing this should have been used.
I'd give them an IP-01 rating for stopping water getting getting in, if you can't stop the water with this design then change the design. They could have uses a fully sealed touch sort of system so that the entire handle could have been epoxy sealed for life like their gearboxes.![]()
