Ah, Nigel, yes you are quite close the me then and it is still very pretty there between Volterra and Pisa. Actually, I have done trips the Pisa airport through that same area, but never really looked.

Will be in Cevoli 26/2 - 6/3 but probably have a hired Fiat Panda. Probably bring the 124 down around easter. Not many stranieri in our area. Some stunning scenery. Try the road form Soiana to Terriciola - narrow but amazing views. Will PM you my contact details nearer the time and try to meet up. If we are going to try for a GTG maybe early summer would be a good idea before it gets too hot/busy.
