How do you know about the arches? Have you seen it? How much tax/test is on it? When was it last serviced?

Maybe an opener of around £4000 - I think as a private sale its well overpriced - I can't see it on a dealer forecourt painted up warrantied for more than £5k can you?

1st one looks good. Just want the bloody AMG wheels, suspension and body kit

4k I would of paid for the other, now I don't know. Arches I have not seen yet, he says slight, you have to look hard was his words.

At the end of the day you can see what you can see. It's had the wings done already, were they new/pattern/or repainted? Why did he not do the rear arches at the same time, or were the wings a while ago?
I do like the kitted one - looks nice, and I hate cl*toris silver as a rule. Wondering whether it's actually an avantgarde though. In pics 3 and 4 the glass looks like it is blue tinted whereas an elegance was green. It's possible to order sapele in lieu of birds-eye-maple on an avantgarde as a no-cost-option.
I really like the blue leather.

If i had £4k and the car checked out I'd be interested myself.

Sittingbourne is a fair way from you - maybe there's a member could scan it over for you when the weather improves?

Rear arches did not need doing at the time. Vauxhall did the work on the front wings Will have to check the receipts to see. He is the 2nd owner since 2006, serviced locally which is OK.

Think you are right, I love it as it's different from everything else, and I like to be different

It's never going to be perfect , it's a secondhand car.

Haggle off what you can , and get it done.

The first one has a funny feel to it for me .... just my opinion though.

its not a pissing contest lol you bruise like a peach. hahaha
im stating the face that changing wheels shocks ect dont make your car like a stiff Ferrari........ some times depending on quality of the springs and tires you can hardly notice it... i have just put H&R shocks and springs on my 202 and it made no difference at all to be honest.

Well after spending 5hrs in the car today I can say I am not happy. I was there looking at car no2 for 3 mins max. It was a heap, very very very very very bad heap of ****. Not worth 2k tbh.

So without going into detail in the massively worn interior missing both the fron side bolster, worn rear seats, damaged doors, massive of rust, damaged wheels, bodged repaired door, and shagged discs, I have bought a 2008 E280 cdi from a Merc dealer who gave me a good deal.
