Fitting the front number plates

I just got a set of European number plates from fancyplates.com and would like some help with fitting them on. I do not want to use the mirror tape but rather the screws that were provided with the plates. Any ideas?

Go to your dealer and ask for a backing plate, they are about £2. and some sticky pads 15p each

They screw onto the car then you stick the plate onto the backing plate
