I've loved every minute of the CLK ownership experience but am now considering a 2003 SL 350. No 2 are the same and there's always something different. I've found one with decent spec and the AMG kit gives it a fantastic look. Problem is it does not have a panoramic glass roof which is on my wish list.
As a retro fit can the top of the roof be exchanged for a glass one? As much as I know that the mechanism rolls on a lot of motors, if I found a 2nd hand glass top, can it be swapped?
If it is doable who should I be talking to. Certainly not the stealership!
As far as the car is concerned the AMG kit swings it for me.
