Help me !!!! my radio says "Mercedes Benz audio 10 View attachment 72218 cd" at the front panel.... the sr "A170 820 03 86" model FM2910 .... I need the unlock code.

You need the serial number to input into the website.
You have given the Model as an Audio 10 FM2910
You have given the Mercedes part number A170 820 03 86.
Now you need the serial number and put it into this website

Sure you inputted the given number correctly?

Seems like the main dealer is your best bet now. They will give you the code for free if you give them the Vin#

Yes, it is Audio 10 with cassette player. Car is ‘96 SLK so it looks perfectly fine there

Can anyone give tell me what code you think I should be entering for an Audio 10 cassette?



And what are you meant to do, I can enter the code, but then what? Should it automatically start once the code is entered?

I guess it is just the wrong code I am entering?

13233 is what I think I should be putting in.

Yes 13233 is the code I get.

But my radio is different, it has the 1, 2, 3 and 4 around that knob with that knob for turning on rds. You move around using the arrows on the left controls...



I think I better go and buy a double din dab/Car Play uni tomorrow. Haha

G1ZZ I found this out . Each numbrr will produce 123456789 if you keep pressing on the button it can bring up tp 123456789 numbers If you tap it once only the number on the button will show .
Code 26112. like press no2 let it go ,, then on number 3 press it and hold it till 6 shows up then back to mo 1 then let it go 1 again let it go then number 2 let it go . try it .TV we do miss you my friend

I have no problem entering the code, but, I'm not sure whether my code is wrong or I am meant to press something at the end, manual is not very clear.

Right have you put the code in ? .Then once its in the screen press one of the up or down buttons on the left hand side .This will lock it in .

It just says CODE again.

I think it is time to buy a new stereo. I was going to order one anyway as I just picked up a W163 ML350 and wanted a double din with dab in there, but I could order from Germany for £335 instead of here for £400. I am out for the next couple of days so some radio would have been nice.

My post above for entering the code is not right .
Thinking about how mine works
For no 2 in the code press and hold no1 button till no2 shows .
For no 6 press and hold no 2 button till no 6 shows up
For no1 press 3 button till no 1 shows up
For no 1 press and hold down no 4 button
For no 2 press and hold down no 1 button till no 2 shows
Then enter with up or down button on the left hand side ..

I only have buttons 1-4 and there will only be codes from 1-4, hence direct presses.

Anyway, I gave up and got the new Pioneer Carplay/Dab unit instead.
Poor image with the phone, but looks good with the matching backlight and subtle amber/brown tones for the GUI.....

What a strange post?! Unless I am reading you wrong?

I have given no end of help on here over the years, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

In this instance I was doing everything in the manual, tried everything everyone here said and it simply wasn't working.
When I bought the car the dealer said they couldn't get the radio working either.

I did say before you replied "I think I better go and buy a double din dab/Car Play uni tomorrow."

I have done just under 1000 miles since Monday and been in the care nearly all day every day, I wanted a radio.
