Hi everyone who reads this,
First thanks for reading this, and any advice or help will be greatly appreciated.
I bought a new C220 sport 125 edition in September 2011.
There was no mention of free service on offer when I bought the car. However they did try to sell me the service package.
A week later I saw on the WWW2 site that there was free 2 year service on all C class, which was running at the time of purchase. This also included the dealership in Glasgow where I bought the car. I'm not from Glasgow so it's a little difficult to go back. I did however call and was put through to the salesman who sold me the car. He told me it wasn't offered because of the deal I got. Though the deal was not that great, compared to others that was going around. I did buy the car on an impulse so I didn't look around.
Has this happened to anyone else.
I work abroad and had forgot about this, not being near the dealer and being away so much put it out of my mind. It's now coming up to service and I was thinking is there anything I can do to claim for this?
I don't have time to go to the dealer as I'm in Nigeria at the moment and return on the 10th. However I then travel to Egypt 3 days after returning which will be for a month. So as you can see hard to sort things out there.
Does anyone know if I really have a right to claim for this, or is it too late?
Thanks for any help or advice given.
Peter
