I had a fantastic response to a previous query whereby the auto gearbox was dripping and leaking its contents. A local excellent independent discovered a bush was loose and tightened the bolt thus stopping the leak. They didn't have the MB "dip stick" to be able to check the oil level so, with reluctance, I took the car for its first visit to a MB main dealer who checked the level and only charged £45 which I considered reasonable considering there isn't a dipstick in the engine compartment and a special tool is required. for information the MB dealer was Robinsons in Norwich.
