Good or Bad Valeo identification?

Hi everyone,

I have a late 2003 (21/10/2003) delivery date from the VIN W211 E-class (E320CDi)

Now as many will be aware after 30/09/2003 the Valeo radiator problem was resolved by Valeo upggrading the radiators. As My "delivery" date is very close to the changeover date, there is an equally good chance that I either have a good or a bad Valeo radiator. Is there any way to tell the difference between the 2? Is there any way to find out the buid date of my car?

Thanks for the reply Ian, unfortunately the post you have linked to only identifies the difference between the Valeo and Behr radiators. I am looking for a difference between the bad and the upgraded Valeo radiators
