Does anyone have experience of removing very dark window tints please?

Mattress in the back of the garage or my preferred method would be to hang a tennis ball from the rear of the garage, back in and wait for the donk on the window when you hit it. Simply hand said ball from the roof and line it with the rear mirror.

Tinted windows are wonderful. shame to lose them.

Steve and all, really dark windows may well be wonderful to some, but I'd rather not crumple my car, it is a very quick way to use up either lots of money or 20 years no claims.

Its very, very, very hard to pull off. Sorry I cannot help but don't know how to do this.

Got to a professional and get them removed.

Or, use a steamer to release it.

If the heater elements are damaged they can be repaired with conducting paint from Halfords

Any local tinter will be able to remove it, and it will be cheap as chips too.

Find a local window tinter who should be able to remove it in no time for a small fee.

I attempted to remove tints before and ended up breaking the glass.

Have some kids play on your gravel drive throwing gravel into the air. If your out of luck a small piece may land on your rear window.

You'll then have to call insurance and have it replaced for £60 excess.

Yes and its really easy Charles you can use steam to remove the film
something like a wall paper striper will do and if your careful it will not leave any glue residue behind but this can be cleaned off with solvent
and no harm to heater elements.
