Another addition for our Goodwood trackday event

My question primarily to the guys listed below, is given the low intrest level in this trackday among the forum members, do you want to all club together and raise the £1500 deposit and then hope theres further interest in the following 2 months leading us to the cut off time of 19th on March,ish, we have a definite 11 no. possible 12, so require 13 more.
Give me your thoughts on it all, the remaining option, is to let it run, and hope we get a little more interest, and that Goodwood do not sell the day to another party in the meantime.

i would be up for that ricky to hold the date, on the proviso all 12 agree so the cost is £125 each. We could then open it up on pistonheads etc. There were a few attendees last year who don't have enough posts to pm, like mr t.

i think at the eve appeal day it was 98db - thats when mine was marginal

i think five on track = 105db - sorry just read your post above -

might be worth asking the group who did the eve appeal day
also the admins might give this thread a sticky if its a goer

ive got three winters at the moment so im either looking for a 235/35/19 for the front
or my front vred is available 6mm+

im back on summers at present

ill look back through the attendees lists

if i remember correctly there was only a dozen or so initially for the last Goodwood TD
i think it will fill up as time goes on

Just to advise. that I have spoken with Goodwoods booking office yesterday, the date of Saturday 19th May 2012 is still available to us, and they are holding the date for us until the new year, their closed anyway, so nothing was going to happen, but we do need a few more people to warrent paying the £1500 deposit which would secure the date.

Also to advise the noise limit allowed at Goodwood is 105DB and not the 98DB I initially stated, my mistake apoligies all round. Prehaps some one could contact Wagon, as unable to PM him, just to see if he should be re intrested, now that I have laid out the correct info.
The cost of the day will be around the £330, its aprox £8K to hire the circuit, (gone up £250 from our days last year), with 25 cars max, and 5 cars on circuit at any time.

sorry not to inputting too much here guys, my work has gone through the roof, so not much time at the moment, also involved with the Vmax thing, but will try and get on with some of your suggestions tonight, thanks for all your efforts.

Q. who amongst the listed above is prepared to front up some deposit monies to raise the £1500, with the potential risk we might lose it, if the day does not secure the 25 no.
I am happy to risk my £330 total payment, but unfortunatlry not the full £1500. I know theres an unfairness of imbalance here, everyone should contribute, but in the real world they wont. Any thoughts on this guys.

I shall put in £150 towards the deposit. Between the 17 now listed it works out at around £88.25 each.

I'll confirm, I've cancelled my other outing and happy to pay my contribution to the deposit.

Potentially I might be interested in "purchasing" a whole bunch of places for some customers of mine as a day out. But perhaps defer this if the numbers shoot up once the warm weather approaches? Anyway, get back to me Ricky if the numbers look short say by mid March. Ideally I'd need two months to get people to come if I bought the remaining places.
