Gulp..just changed wifeys car.. and its NOT a merc - yikes

I like it. As you say - not silver/black so a bonus.

her TT's suspension is horrid..

out of all the cars, our original slk suspension is the best of the best.

mercedes tyres are too low profile and suspension is not really great on our roads..

even the e with air suspension is horrid :(
That is a ridiculous statement. Virtually all reviews agree the E class has the best ride and few if any deny that Audis have an awful ride. As JC said they are clearly designed to ride on a surface as smooth as the designers desk.

Very nice car Boss! Well done! Matches well with your 212! :)

I think the colour is lovely. Like the seats too. BUT that steering wheel and gearchange would drive me mad. Also would prefer the carpets to contrast. Had a volcanic black A6 once with vanilla seats and cards. Loved the contrast.

Good choice though Boss, glad that Mrs Boss is happy. :thumb:

Nice car. :thumb:
Pictures never do colours like that much justice. They always look far better in the flesh especially with a bit of sunlight reflecting off the colour. My wife has a 'Platinum Bronze' BMW which I'd personally never pick from online pics or the paint examples in brochures but it's a cracking colour - particularly when its cleaned up properly (which it is frequently). It's the only car we've had where people regularly stop and comment on how nice the colour looks (men as well as women ;)).

Looks lovely TB,I hope you get some trouble free miles

fair point, but everyone is different lol.

merc suspension travel in the c and e class is, in my opinion, appauling.

the s / sl and ml suspension in my opinion is one of the best.

amazingly, i also found the new range rover evoque and large range rover sports to have a not so great ride - i was expecting pure walking on air feel, but instead was left feeling juddered!

hopefully we dont get sick of it.. lol.. if so, will need to make adjustments to it - it was a concern, but we have to be brave :)

excellent colours
very fashionable too
I like it

Did you try a BMW 3 cab? or was it too small?

Nice car, colour combo isnt my cup of tea. Has it got Audi Magnetc Ride?
