Has anyone appealed a parking ticket here?

Well to enable me to still get indoors tonight I better keep it to the only partially offensive ones :)

Little Miss Careless, or Little Miss Lead Foot spring to mind ;) :o :D

 I'll be dealing with you tonight when you get in!!!

I think Little Miss Perfect is the one you should be quoting :D :D

Get a copy of todays Daily Mail, exact same thing happened to another woman & she eventually won her case, judge did not think much of the councils attitude as she lost all the appeals before going to court.

Just see what happens re: your initial challenge; or, give them a ring (I see their contact number is on the Medway web site) and ask what their policy is...

Interesting, well hopefully the local council will be aware of that and overrule my fine - i hope so coz I can't afford just to give them £25 - i'd rather give it to some homeless person than give it to them for nothing!!

Been there done that got the parking ticket.

On the pay and display ticket it will say about afixing to the back of the windscreen. This is where it should be , with the gum stuck to the window.

However , in glasgow , some of the machine actually print out a ticket without the gum on the back so ill bet theres a fair few of those get blown about and that line im sure couldnt be used for those.

Judge..? Court..?

Sorry, did not have the paper in front of me. Memory must be going!

Her written appeal was rejected,
she contacted the council chief executive,
she enlisted the help of her local councillor, her solicitor & her MP,
she protested outside the car park with a banner & collected 300 signatures on her petition, but the council still refused to waive the penalty.

She went to the traffic penalty tribunal who directed the council to cancel the PCN on the grounds of precedural impropriety.

Obviously the tribunal use common sense as the deciding factor. :)

Robert, I'm going to ressurect my old post if I can find it about the ticket in Perth, got a reply from them today.
