Just joined up after weeks of browsing, having finally decided to buy my first Mercedes.
Went into the showroom and decided this was the one for me. It's a C250 CDI Sport Saloon Auto with Comand. Waiting for the options wheels instead before I take delivery, but have this picture.
Haven't bought a new car for 10 years, but feel like browsing MBClub has helped me save some money already. Have decided against buying GAP Insurance from Mercedes (though I will get it elsewhere), and thought that Minor Damage Insurance and StarGuard were overpriced.
Currently driving an old Citroen Picasso, so the new car will be worlds apart ... can't wait!

I was getting all excited, but now I have to wait even longer than anticipated. The salesman (Peterborough MB) has been very pleasant but can't give me a firm date, though hopes it's before the end of the month so it helps his year's sales figures! He can't even tell me why it's been delayed. However he did say that he's had confirmation of the build with all the spec items on it. Apparently cars sometimes turn up without everything ordered!
