Help needed, C250D W202 caliper

I just got a new caliper for the front drivers side on my C250

The problem I have is the bolt for the wear sensor is in completely the wrong place

The auto factors where I got it from say that the only other caliper listed for my car is a different type entirely

I have added some photos to show the problem

There are two calipers for these depending on VIN
From the photo's that I have access to it would appear that they are similar save for the hole you refer to.

The part number on the box of the new one.

This is the early caliper that should be on yours.
Part number OE 0014201183
On the left hand view note the absence of the bolt hole facing you as is the case on your new one.

This is the later one. OE Ref 0014204683
On the left photo you can see the extra hole around 1 O Clock.
The piston size is the same on both calipers.

Hope this helps change the suppliers mind!!
