Help needed with S124 hydraulic resovoir leak

Hi,
I have a leak coming from the resovoir holding the self levelling fluid on my 94 E280 estate. It looks like the bottom connector is just old and needing replacing - is this a DIY job? Anyone done this or had this problem before?

Probably the pipe has split where it meets the reservoir. Try cutting it back and remaking the join

Does the resovoir feed any other device such as power steering that will need refilling when i drain the tank to repair it?
