Had an intermitant hot start issue for ages and tried all sorts.
Seems a common prob on lots of the diesel mb's. Mines a 109 vito. 2 merc mechanics said it would be 95% cas (crank sensor) so replaced that but no better.
ALWAYS starts from cold and drives / runs perfect. Stop for fuel and it will randomly just refuse to start. Leave 20 mins and it starts fine. Changed all relays, fuses, sam, fuse box.
Now wonder if we have an intermitant leak off prob, injector or fuel rail reg. I got no fault codes either!
