Was discussing with a potential purchaser the details and price of my car.
All I'd given him regarding location was that I was near Canary Wharf, and the purchaser was in Wales somewhere.
Next thing I new was that the next day my doorbell rang and it was the Welsh guy! He asked if the BMW was mine and the one for sale. I replied in the afirmative and asked how he'd found me. He replied that he printed off the pictures of the car and driven from Wales to Canary Wharf and asked around if anyone recognised the surroundings in the photos! One of the local petrol stations recognised my area so he drove around it until he saw the car outside my house.
It turns out that I'd logged off and gone to bed after I sent the email, not knowing that he wanted it immediately and missed his reply confirming he wanted it and how to find me. He had the 13k asking price in cash as well.
