How much do you pay for insurance

Hi I am 68 next month my wife is 66 got full comp on my SL350 for £212 with Saga,10 years ncd,I think that was quite good.

Ah, you've been done!:D

1996 E320 Coupe, 63 yo.

SAGA: £119.

Basic Premium: £93.28; Legal Protection, £26.50, NCD protection, 5k per year, locked garage, £350 excess, no convictions.

:bannana:

I can't believe how cheap Mercedes Insurance were for my new C63 (arrives tomorrow).

Cheapest quote had been £750 and Mercedes are doing for £590... full details:

New C63 Coupe
Age 36 (2 years no claims)
Married (with wife on policy 7 years+ NCD)
1 Child
Garaged
12k per annum (business use)
Upgraded courtesy car (A Class)
Legal cover included

£590 per annum and £650 excess

Not bad at all :thumb:

I renewed mine the other day. Came in at £606

If you think insurance is expensive you should try Northern Ireland. My 2007 e320cdi is £700 a year full comp im 33 with 7 ncb!! That's living in Belfast for you! To insure in at my mums address 12 miles down the road it would have been £450 it definitely decreases the policy price by adding a responsible driver with no points ect!! One point I feel I should mention is that if you have 3 points on your licence it does not do to much to your quote but, if you get a further 3 forget it, some firms won't even quote you and it would potentially go up roughly 40%!! I only have three points but my this happened to my friend!!

Hmm..£300 for me, vs £200 with LV=.

Also their definition of Business use and Personal Business use appears to be the identical and excludes "soliciting orders".

C32 amg..7 yrs NC..£250, incl legal assistance and £350 excess

Not bad really..Nearer £600 last yr

I was mousing around tonight investigating the consequences of a newer car, specifically a c250 estate 125 edition sport 204bhp value £25K to live in E14 . Cheapest quote £530 . Exact same conditions for the C230k 193BHP value £1.5k and E300D 136bhp value £2k which come in at around £350 each. That's London for you. The range of prices on the comparison sites was simply staggering. A call to my insurers will be made this week suggesting that I will take my business elsewhere.

New c180, 27 yo 5yr ncb protected, 6 points for a single sp30 £265 fine, fully comp. £517 for the year I thought that was a.pretty good deal! MB wanted over 1k.

I am 40, married, 2 kids, clean license, max no claims living in the wildnerness on the southcoast (so postcode) and I pay £440 through aviva for mine.

I thought Aviva underwrote MB's insurance but they wanted £850.

Whats really odd is that my c63 is £100 cheaper a year to insure than my e350 sport convertable it replaced.

Aviva were one of the few that didn't want a track er fitted.

28 Years old, 0 no claims as this is a second car, 1 non-fault accident and 3 points, wife on there also with 0 no claims. £500 voluntary excess and £100 mandatory, kept on drive way overnight, works out as £850 for the year on ML270 04 plate with 5K miles per year.
