How much do you pay for insurance

Currently getting quotes together for 2013 C63. Cheapest + wife is Direct Line @£622 but needs a tracker fitted. Tracker.co.uk offering £150 off retail price for tracker locate if I commit to DL.

29, 8 years no claims, clean license. Excess £350. Glass replacement £75.

I'm about to pick up a 62 plate C220 CDI AMG Sport Plus Coupe and I have to pay £1100 for the insurance. I don't think it's too bad considering I'm 22 and live in an abomination of a town, plus I've just written off my previous car (1.6 fiesta) that I payed £720 a year for insurance.

C55 AMG, 29 years old, 12 years NCB, no points, A rated postcode area and one named driver excess is £100

£440 a year!

Bora £210 a year and passat £260

All fully comp

Age 29. SP30. Written off 335i in 2010 no other parties involved. 2013 C63. Admiral. Fully comp £899. Gap insurance £550. North East Scotland.

Does anyone recommend any fuel saving cards? I always use Shell VPower but in reality I collect ~0.67p per litre based on £1.50/l. Wondering if there's a better system?

Make sure you use a credit card that pays extra cashback for fuel purchases, should give you at least another 3% back.

Just got my renewal in, £275 fully comp, total of about £300 excess, 9 yrs no claims.

28 years old male, 6 points, 9 years no claims. 5k miles per year. £300 excess £730 premium. 2004 E55 AMG.

Currently got a multicar policy with Aviva.
Just tried an individual online quote to see what an SLK will cost over the current Volvo C30.
C30 £167
SLK £200
Thats for wife as main driver & me named, protected NCD.
Then tried changing the details to car stored in garage overnight instead of on drive - reduced the price all the way down to £197!

Age 21
C250 cdi AMG Sport Plus Coupe
0 no claims (I was a named driver up to now)
0 claims made.
£2050!

My CLS and Toyota hybrid, with Admiral multi-car, 20+ years no claims, no points, a shade over £400 for both.

Insured on Admiral Multicar, C43 valued at 3k and w204 220cdi valued at 15k.

35' no points, wife 30 and no points.

Last year was £915 fully comp, wife and I insured, 2 years NCD, parked on street in Battersea.

3 weeks ago wife crashed the W204, went into wall when parking car at home base, very low speed but needed new from bumper, lights, and some other bits, about 2.5k job. Lost NCD.

Now got renewal notice at £2300! Managed to get it down to £1673 by increasing excess to 1k on C43.

Anyone recommend anywhere else for a multi car policy! TBH was very happy with admiral but annoyed at the uplift, even with accident.

Try Aviva, they were cheaper than everyone else I tried. But they were the only one who didn't want a tracker fitted.

Shall get right on it thanks. Muchly appreciated!

I thought it would be interesting to know what other members pay for their insurance. I'll start off;
W211 320Cdi
16 years no claims
Me & wife
£370 FC
CLS320 cdi, 9 years no claims 10,000 miles with 6,000 miles for bus, me and my wife £255

Just arranged renewal for the E55k. The Admiral wanted £600 to renew. A phone call got that quote down to £439 giving me 'a loyalty bonus' for my five years custom. However the Meerkats won the day with a quote of £330 for an identical policy from the RAC. Well happy with that. The guy from Admiral made me laugh though with his parting shot... 'Give us a ring when you renew next year and we might be able to offer you an introductory bonus to get your custom back!'

£2250 Porsche 997 C2 Bradford suburb,44yrs old full bonus 3 pts 4.5k mileage limit
95 e300d 3k miles pa £125
07 Renault traffic Sl27 dci 115 £520

I went with RAC on mine, and then had to cancel it within the 14 days, but can't for the life of me remember why. Think it might have been something to do with driving abroad, but I just can't remember, it was only 2 months ago as well.
Shame as their price was half of the next best one.
