On the other scale, I'm paying £6 for fully comprehensive, annual cover of a BMW Z3 with AXA (not in the UK though)...

just insured my new 13 plate e63 which I picked up last week. £258 fully comp with Direct Line.

with a £200 excess and protected NCB.
This is with 3 non-fault claims plus a windscreen claim within the last 5 years.
It includes full European breakdown cover as a driver or passenger in any car.

The further north you go the cheaper the insurance, most likely because you have a lot of idiots doing these insurance claims further south......it's rife here in the west mids.

Cheapest I could get with a "brand" company was £890. That's 8 years no claims. 30 years old no claims/points with my mum on the policy!!

Manchester is really expensive for insurance. And I have to photocopy and send in mine AND my mums driving licences.
