How to spoil a very nice car ......

In fairness to the sainted Quentin, his concern seems always to be for preservation of classics or future classics in as much of the original spec & state as possible, no? This is how we can invest in our cars to preserve their future potential classic status rather than just bling them up for immediate gratification I reckon. IMHO only of course

I suppose he's got a point.

I have to say, my dad had one of the very first w124 estates (c reg) and towards the end of its life with us it started to get a bit of rust on the arches, it just wasn't worth getting them done as the car was only worth £500 ish. So off we went to GSF...

'Good day my man, a set of your finest chrome wheelarch trims please ......'

Hey presto, rust sorted......... :o

ummmm i kinda like the wheel arches, not impressed with the shooters at the back though. Each to his own I guess! Vote vote vote vote!!!!!! :D

Sometimes I think this forum gets too much like the other Mercedes forum where they all have their heads up their ar$e$. Please don't turn out like that.I enjoy this one too much.

When adding 'bling'????? accessories you are surely making a statement?

You are doing something that you like and then showing it to the public.

Surely it is only right and proper for us all to respect comments that are made in good faith and not 'diss' those that might say something that does not agree with your own personal preferences?

I believe 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder'. If you want 20" wide chrome plated wheels, with gold coloured wheel arches then feel free.

I certainly would not make any comment about where your head resides ;) or anybody elses. ;)
