I am addicted, it`s a problem.

I think the only Porsche that would appeal to me is way out of my league and that's a GT3 RS :D

I have had a C63. wonderful car in many respects.
But I preferred my CLK Blackseries to that car.
So when I owned the C63 after the Black, I had an itch that I was missing something. I tired a couple of cars, CL63 and a "normal" E63 Bi-Turbo..

But then I found it..

Not only has the itch gone, it has been eliminated.
And what car did that.

E63S
Almost 600Bhp.
Revised Front Suspension comes with the S that gives amazing sharp turn in.
It is the only car when I have yelled, "Holy Mother of god".. when driving it.
The other was the Blackseries when I picked it up..

Whats better....
An E63S 4Matic..
Which are due soon in the UK?
That car will be astonishing as I have driven one here in Canada.
Get it mapped, pipes and it will be in a completely different planet..

And that will be a car that would be impossible to replace.. IMO

Why change if you're happy with it? especially as you have the 507 edition - I'd just keep it!

Not allot out there that would match the M156 for character, noise etc, yes you could get faster but that's not the point!

M5/M6 are boring - fake sound, nuff said!

That's my bro !lol

Only available in manual ? **** as an everyday car ....
Brilliant otherwise !

If I could afford a GT3 RS I'd likely have a daily driver too :D

991 GT3 RS is PDK :)

Would love one (if I could afford it!) but would need rear rear seats for the kiddies. Hence why I am setting my sights on a 991 GTS, or maybe even a turbo.

The next E63 4-matic would be an amazing do it all car I'm sure :)

Trouble is, *nothing* is going to replace the M156 exhaust sound!

Have you ever driven the new RS6?

Good shout, my brother in law has one and it's lovely. Exhaust sound is not bad but not as good as an AMG. But it's a "daily driver" type car I think, not a "get up early on a sunny Sunday morning" car.

Ultimate garage for me would be:

Daily driver/do it all car: RS6 or E63S 4-matic

Weekend/special occasion car: 991 GTS

I want to love Porsche but there are two issues I have:

1. The dealers (I've been to 3) are so snotty I gave up buying one and got an M3.

I wouldn't let a snotty dealer put me off buying a car. That's like not dating a girl you really like because you're not keen on her parents. :dk:

If you like the car, you just ignore the dealers attitude. :thumb:

Well, 7 months into ownership of my 507, and yes, I still love every `session` of driving this car. The problem is, this engine is soooooo addictive, I fear I have nowhere to go from here ! I generally change my cars every 12/18 months, but I feel no matter what I get next, just wont cut it , in terms of this engines noise, power , torque and general characteristics. The Audi V8`s don't even come close. I,m not really into range Rovers/SUV`s anymore. The beemer has no soul. ...... The only motor that I may enjoy ( almost as much) is the Jaguar `R` Models. Just seeing the F Type R on the road and watching some Youtube clips of them , they do sound pretty tasty, but I feel that the overall experience may not equal? At some point I will have to book a test drive of the Jag and just draw my own conclusion, but at the minute, I just feel that this Merc has got me in it`s grasps...and won`t let go !

I'd die for a 'problem' like this.

Your car is sublime. Keep it till something takes your fancy.

Yeah but the reason I'm now in an AMG is I fell out with Sytner BMW and to spite them I bought the Merc which incidentally I quite like despite it meant to be being a stop gap.

Glad I didn't buy yet another M3 that they lied to me about the history of.

Interesting that there isn't any love here for the new W205 C63...

All's well that ends well. But my point is that if you really liked your M3 then you could have sourced another from a 'nicer' dealer. It's wasn't the make & model you had issues with. It was the dealer. We have a Sytner MB in Carlise and they're fine.

Still, glad you got your AMG, might never have met you dude!!! :thumb:

They are great cars ,especially the s version that electronic diff is a good bit of kit.
If I was in the market for a new car I'd consider one .

Agree there are very few positive reviews from owners about the w205 c63 on any forum.

TBH given the choice I'd much rather have a 205 C63 but I confess to not knowing anything about fast cars. To me the 205 would be amazing when you consider my poor car history.

I understand the 204 C63 fans think otherwise.
