I was in Stuttgart last week

Me and the missus were driving round Germany for a week.

Saw a few examples of the new C-Class pottering around, a couple of Maybachs (ouch), the new CL coupe and best of all the monumental SLR.

However the SLR was sat in a glass case at the airport underneath a car hire sign and not roaring up the Autobahn !

Shamefully I never visited the Mercedes Benz factory as we ran out of time on the last day

Amazing how much I didn't see during my week. It was 99% drizzle. New CL + a few 204s - + that's basically it.

You would be better off going to MB World at Brooklands. The other weekend they had approx 12 Maybachs and 6 SLRs.
