I'm going to see this at the weekend....

That is lush.

Go over it with a fine tooth comb though. That garage was trying to sell an Audi C5 RS6 a while ago that I looked at and it needed a lot of work which they denied needed doing at all.

I drove one once was bone dry and a slight nudge on the pedal had the rear sideways - awesome cars - good luck.

I have been looking at that, sorely tempted. The only option is does not have is Distronic.

Good luck, hope you buy it, very rare. Have it checked and look into the Service History with a fine tooth comb. One owner etc sounds good on the face of it.

65 AMGs may need more cooling, resulting in distronic being not speccable?

I've been looking too. Maybe it's the photos or preparation, but the paintwork looks a bit rougher than I'd expect on a car like this.

Near to Olly for checking over too.

I still remember a chap from another forum called Angus who bought a bright red 54 plate SL65 new.

It was mental.

612BHP and 1000NM of torque IIRC.

Great cars and I would love one but as said - rare!

Great advert. It even has power assisted steering and PAS! Amazing on a car like this: even the McLaren F1 can't boast that...

I've heard that owning an SL65 is very therapeutic for bad backs and other complaints, so I think you're obligated to buy it.

Any car that has to be de-tuned to 1000ftlbs torque is my dream car.

1000Nm, 1000 ft lbs would be insane! :o

Not very impressed with the garage. I don't think they appreciate what car they have there :(

Let me look it over first Baldy. You need to be very very careful when buying a car like this.

As I said earlier, be careful with this lot. The RS6 was in a poor state of repair and they didn't seem bothered at all.
