I drove 800 miles with a trailer on the back to buy trapper johns 300ce. Money well spent! I drove 1400 miles round trip to get my triumph rocket 3 which was in Inverness. All of which worked out cheaper than waiting for a car to come up locally and my bike came with the spec and condition I wanted.

So it's not travelling to pay over the odds, it's making the effort to travel a couple of hundred miles to get a decent car at a sensible price.

I was put off looking at a car last week because I could see the radio was tuned in to "Capital FM".
If it had been"Classic FM" that would have been different!
